Product Description

Our Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) panels are designed and manufactured for a variety of purposes. MDF is a commonly used composite board which is made by combining small wood fibers like sawdust and wood chippings and combining them with wax and resin binder then applying high temperature and pressure to form the panels. MDF has a smooth surface which makes it easy to paint and apply veneers to, it is consistent throughout, so the cut edges appear smooth and won’t have voids or splinters. MDF is also easier to shape than solid wood enabling more complicated designs to cut. If you wish to have your sheet cut by ourselves please contact the Newport Branch for more details.
